Can’t remember if I’ve posted something like this before, and too lazy to go check right now.

1) I don’t do “link exchanges”. Every blog that’s linked on here is one I read and have chosen to link to. Some have reciprocated, others have not. That’s fine and I believe it’s every blogger’s prerogative to link to (or not link to) what they want. It’s not a “tit for tat”. I don’t expect a link in return just because I’ve linked to someone…and hopefully, the people who have chosen to link to me have done so because they like my blog.

2) If someone links to me and I start seeing traffic from their site, I likely will go check their blog. If it’s something I’m interested in, I probably will link to them. I’ve found a lot of great blogs in this way. I do often also check the blogs of commenters (especially frequent ones) and have found some great ones…and made some good friends…in that way.

3) If you send me e-mails saying “Hey, I like your blog. Let’s exchange links.” I will most likely just ignore it, especially if you’re someone I don’t already know. If you’ve made the effort to get to know me first, I’d probably be more receptive, though I find it a lot more polite to be asked to look at someone’s blog rather than just point-blank asked to link to it.

4) If you leave comments asking for a link exchange, I will definitely delete them and I won’t be checking out your blog. If you want to comment on my writing, please do. If you want to use comments as a way to spammily promote your blog or site, please don’t…the comment won’t be up very long.

I think that about covers it.

Life’s still busy…I’ve had a whopping 2 days off in the past 4 weeks. Nothing bad, just classes and other work stuff that has to be done…and looking at at least 4 more weeks of the same. At least we’re getting down to SoCal this weekend for a couple days to see my family, and looks like we might even get some grown-up alone time with Iris and M (woohoo!).

I think I must be neglecting Sparkle’s bottom, because she’s been…well, if not incorrigible, then certainly brattier than normal. After leaving some bratty comments on my FetLife profile pics today, I added a new one from tonight showing what happens to bratty girls who do that. It’s there on FetLife if anyone’s so inclined to look…I’ve actually added a few new (or at least new to FL) photos lately.

Also, thanks to the influence of people like Adele Haze and Mija, I’ve also created a kinky Twitter account. You can find my tweets at http://twitter.com/Firemn_Chris. It’s not going to replace this blog by any means, but it’s a good place for more brief and routine thoughts to be posted.

And now, I think it’s past my bedtime. Night all.
